The Berks Art Alliance has added a new award this year, the EMERGING ARTIST AWARD
Emerging Artist Award
• Defined as one who has displayed in
less than 3 non education related exhibits.
• One who has been pursuing their art seriously for less than 2 years.
​• And is accepted into our show.
* Required to sign up at art drop off.
Emerging Artist Award will receive:
$100 Award Check
An exhibit at an area gallery spae at a time and size that works for the winner
Other Awards: 
First Place $750
Second Place $450
Third Place $300
5 Honorable Mentions $100 each Patrons’ Choices*

Preparing the digital picture
​of your art

ENTRY PROCEDURE
DIGITAL ENTRY PREPARATIONS
  • Digital entries must be JPG format with a total file size between 1 and 2.5MB.​  ( or 1800 pixels in one direction)
  • Naming files:​ A (or B or C)_medium_title
    ​examples: 
  • A_ acrylic_Dodgeball.jpeg
    B_ oil_fallharvest.jpeg
     C_mixed_winterlandscape.jpeg
  • 2D art: Show only the image; no frame, mat or background. 
  • 3D art: Use simple background in a contrasting color/tone so the art stands out.
  • ​Measurement is outside measurement of the frame or object. So how much wall space it will take.
  • REMEMBER: your art will be judged from the photograph you submit; make it as professional as you can.
