"I find beauty in things that others may overlook."
Some of the areas that fascinate James Maria,
GoggleWorks artist and private educator, are previously
occupied spaces and interiors such as former homes,
hospitals, schools, and factories. He carefully creates
stunning paintings of what is left behind.
His work is represented at the Red Raven Gallery,
Lancaster, and has been exhibited in numerous juried
shows both regional and international, as well as
museums where a few are part of permanent collections.
James Maria is a Watercolor Honor Society member of
the Springfield (Missouri) Art Museum, and a Signature
Member of the American Watercolor Society. One of his
paintings has been selected for the Traveling Show of
the 146th Anniversary American Watercolor USA Juried
